Cute fall dates ideas: you are welcome

Arielle Weg

As the leaves fall and it gets colder outside, you may want to find someone to engage in “cuddle season” with. But once you find that someone, what will you do with them?
One popular date spot is the Buford Corn Maze, located at 4470 Bennett Road, Buford, GA. The Buford Corn Maze will be open until November 7th, and you can find a variety of activities to do with your date. The main attraction is the Corn Maze itself; however, there is also a Haunted Forest, a hayride, a pumpkin patch, and so much more. Tickets can be purchased online or at the gate. If you’re looking to scare your date into your arms, the Haunted Forest is open weekends at dark. However, if you’re looking for a more tame date, the Corn Maze, hayride, and pumpkin patch might be better for you. Additionally, the Barnyard Grill has food and drinks available for when you get hungry or thirsty. More information can be found at
Some other fun outdoor activities you can do are apple picking and going to a pumpkin patch. Just simply going to an apple orchard or pumpkin patch with your date can be a date, however, you can step it up even more. You can make some delicious treats with the apples or pumpkins, plus baking in the kitchen will warm you up after spending the day out in the cold! Some treats you could make are: apple pie, caramel/candy apples, pumpkin pie, and pumpkin bread! And with the pumpkins you choose, you can even carve them together, and turn it into a pumpkin carving contest if you’re really competitive. If you like the sound of apple picking, you can drive up to Ellijay, GA to check out B.J. Reece Orchards or Hillcrest Orchards. As mentioned before, there is a pumpkin patch at the Buford Corn Maze; however, Burt’s Pumpkin Farm in Dawsonville, GA is another popular patch to check out.
If you’re more introverted, then a fun idea for a date is to just simply stay at home and watch movies. Snuggling up with your date on the couch while you have a movie marathon is a great way to stay cozy and have fun. You can choose whichever movies you want to watch, but Halloween movies are a great way to get into the Halloween spirit. Alternatively, you could take your date to go see a drive-in movie!
However, not everyone is interested in spending time out in the cold, so here are some equally fun and cute date ideas that can be done indoors! Although these activities are available year-round, they are definitely ones you can’t go wrong with. Firstly, who doesn’t love the arcade? It allows you to embrace both your competitive and goofy side, and you can get prizes with the tickets/points you win. Additionally, most arcades have bowling too, in case you wanted to show off your bowling skills to your date. Places like Main Event and Stars and Strikes are most popular for this. Secondly, roller skating is a great way to spend time with your date, especially if they don’t know how to skate. Teaching them to skate can help you two get closer and may even result in some very fun memories being made! You can roller skate at Skate Country or even find a local skate park.
There are endless possibilities of ways to spend time with your date, whether they are your significant other or a new person in your life. However, what you are doing won’t matter that much because what really counts is the time you spend with them and the memories you make along the way.
