Queen Elizabeth

The recent passing of Queen Elizabeth II has been devastating for the world, especially for England. Ceremonies, funerals, and tributes for the Queen have been taking place worldwide.
The Queen was a major figure in the UK soccer scene and general sports in and near London.. She played a huge part in the 2012 summer Olympics, she did a skit with James Bond and “jumped out a helicopter.” She also presented the Jules Rimet Trophy to England after they won the Fifa World Cup 1966. As a result of the Queen’s death, multiple matches have been postponed and pushed back. All 10 games in the second round of Premier League games got postponed to next week to show respect for the Queen. Games will have sad themes and intros for the next few weeks.
